We’ve got some fun news to share: Breeze ’n Bites is featured in Your Dinner Guide with a special preview of our Bonaire Culinary Week menu. If you love discovering new flavors on the island, or you simply enjoy a good dinner with the sea right beside your table, this is a read you’ll want to save.
Bonaire Culinary Week is all about celebrating the island’s culinary scene, and we’re happy to be part of it again. During the event, we’ll be serving a special 3-course Culinary Week menu in our intimate waterfront setting at Den Lamanea. Easygoing, not pretentious, and exactly the kind of evening that fits the Bonaire vibe.
In the magazine article, the writer shares their experience of a sneak preview night, from the fresh, seafood-forward style of our kitchen to the relaxed atmosphere that makes people linger just a little longer. Expect a taste of what we love most: classic foundations, island inspiration, and dishes that pair perfectly with ocean views.
Bonaire Culinary Week (also known locally as Bonaire Culinair) is a twice-yearly, 15-day island celebration of food and hospitality. Restaurants across the island craft a fixed-price, three-course special so you can taste more of Bonaire’s culinary talent, whether you’re a first-time visitor or a local foodie. Most venues offer a 3-course menu at a set event price (this can vary per edition), making it the perfect excuse to try someplace new, or come back to a favorite.
How Breeze ’n Bites takes part
At Breeze ’n Bites, we join Bonaire Culinary Week with a seasonal three-course special that showcases fresh island produce and our seaside style. Expect a choice of starter, main and dessert, with optional add-ons from our bar or wine list.

Dutch owners, island heart
Breeze ’n Bites is run by Dutch owners Dick and Frank , who brought their love of warm hospitality to Bonaire’s shoreline.
